Thank You

Thanks to everyone who have spent countless hours mowing and keeping the field looking great. The cool and wet spring has certainly required more field maintenance. A reporter from the Budget will be at the field on Monday to write up a story and take some photos before the fly in. That story is posted HERE.

Time to Fly

Hello everyone! The 2014 flying season is almost upon us. It's an exciting time of year that modelers look forward to after a long winter, absent of flying. We have started prepping and getting the field ready for another awesome year. We are in the process of rolling the field to smooth out some of those bumps and holes, and repair some of the wind-swept areas from that wonderful Wyoming wind. A few of us are excited about taking our winter project out of the hangar and on its maiden flight. Hope to see you at the flight line.

Spring 2013 Fly In Update

Our second annual fly in was a huge success, attracting R/C pilots from all over the state. The club's trainer plane and buddy box got a strong workout over the weekend. A reporter for the local newspaper was present and did a photo spread in the Douglas Budget.

Our own collection of photos from the event is available here: Spring 2013 Fly In Gallery

Spring is finally here!

Several members dusted off their planes, charged their flight batteries, and came out to the field last week after waiting all winter for the next opportunity to fly. They took advantage of the perfect weather to brush up on their skills and get some stick time.
